Privacy Policy
How MenuLoq handles information — written clearly for restaurants, staff, and guests who use the service.
MenuLoq provides cloud restaurant software for POS, digital QR menus, online ordering, kitchen display, printing, shift tools, payments, and reports. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Your privacy at MenuLoq
This policy applies when businesses, staff, customers, and visitors use MenuLoq on the web, staff mobile app, or related services.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use MenuLoq, we may process account and contact details, restaurant configuration, menu content, photos you upload for menus or logos, order records, customer details entered by your restaurant, staff profiles and permissions, support messages, and usage data needed to operate and secure the service.
If you enable related tools, we may also process device information, push notification tokens, printer or kitchen-display device identifiers, crash or diagnostic logs, and shift or cash activity connected to your business operations.
MenuLoq does not use advertising SDKs and does not collect Advertising ID. Typed business or delivery addresses may be stored; the app does not collect GPS location.
Restaurant account and staff information
Restaurant owners and staff may provide business name, address, email, phone number, logo, country, currency, timezone, website or SEO settings, employee details, membership preferences, and operational settings such as kitchen display, printing, or shift features.
Customer and order information
To complete restaurant orders, MenuLoq may process customer names, phone numbers, emails, delivery addresses, table references, order items, notes, payment status, and related order history. This information is collected through POS, QR ordering, or the restaurant website as part of your restaurant’s operations.
Devices, mobile app, and notifications
When staff use the MenuLoq mobile app or kitchen/display devices, we may process device identifiers, app quality or crash signals, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens so we can deliver notifications and keep the service reliable. FCM tokens are processed by Google Firebase for notification delivery.
The app may access the camera or photo library only when you choose to attach a photo, such as a menu item image, logo, or support screenshot.
Payments and billing
Online payment details are processed by supported third-party payment providers and SaaS billing providers. MenuLoq does not store full card numbers on its own servers.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve MenuLoq features, including ordering, kitchen tools, printing, shifts, billing, reporting, notifications, support, security, membership management, and account deletion workflows.
We may also use information to prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, meet legal obligations, and communicate important service updates.
Your privacy choices and account deletion
Depending on applicable law and service rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or export of personal information. Account deletion requests can be submitted in the MenuLoq app or POS, or from the public form at https://menuloq.com/privacy/account-deletion — no app login is required.
Eligible accounts are scheduled for deletion after a 14-day grace period. You can cancel from the app or POS during that window. Some financial, accounting, security, or legal records may be retained or anonymized where required.
Cookies and similar technologies
MenuLoq may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, preferences, security, analytics, and cart or table workflow on the website and application.
Third-party services
To run the service we may work with hosting, email, analytics, push notification, payment gateway, SaaS billing, or other infrastructure providers. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for service operation, support, legal, accounting, dispute, security, backup, or membership purposes. MenuLoq uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services, legal requirements, or business practices change. If an update materially affects how we handle personal information, we may provide reasonable notice through MenuLoq, email, or another appropriate channel.
